Diablo II: Resurrected launches on Thursday, September 23 and Wowhead has prepared some advanced guides for the upcoming release. Yesterday, we highlighted some
such as how to reset skills, game difficulties, and normal versus Hardcore. Today, we're highlighting some guides for endgame content.
Item Rarity & Magic Find
Item Rarity is a key component to items in Diablo II: Resurrected and Item Rarity doesn't always tell the full story of an item's power or value. For example, Rare and Magic items can sometimes be the best piece of gear for some end game builds, because Magic items can sometimes roll higher properties than Rare items.
is an extremely important attribute for many adventurers in Diablo II: Resurrected and some players will create entire characters built around stacking as much Magic Find as possible.

Runes & Runewords
Runes are small inscribed stones that can be used for specific purposes:
Runewords are a specific combination of socketed Runes that can create powerful augmentation to items, drastically changing their effects and added entirely new bonuses. Runewords are extremely important to end game content in Diablo II: Resurrected and specific Runes have very high value because of the Runewords they contribute to.

Gems & Jewels
Instead of placing Runes into sockets to create Runewords, you can also place Gems or Jewels in these sockets to add additional stats or effects to equipment. Both Gems and Jewels are also important parts of some
Horadric Cube Recipes
so while you are leveling, be sure to keep them in the stash for use later.

Charms are small Magic items you can pick up on your adventures through Diablo II: Resurrected. These items can have a Magic Prefix, Suffix, or both. About 50% of Magic Charms will have only a Suffix, 25% only a Prefix, and about 25% both a Prefix and a Suffix. These powers can get better with the iLevel of the Charm, and all Charm effects stack. Each size Charm also has one Unique Charm that provides special properties; these are usually only obtained by completing specific events in game.
The great thing about Charms is that these stand-alone items allow you to add to your abilities and properties a la carte, without having to reroll entire items to add a property to your gear. In Diablo III, this feature was replaced through the Enchanter and being able to re-roll individual property on armor. In Diablo II, this flexibility and tuning is handled through Charms.
Charms come in three sizes, with one of the three different random icons for each. The icon does not correspond to properties in any way. (No, you can't turn the vertical Charms sideways):
Uber Boss & Pandemonium Event
In Diablo II: Resurrected, the "end game" content are these two activities, fighting Uber Bosses and opening a Portal to Uber Tristam to take on the Pandemonium event. Defeating the Pandemonium Event will reward the player with the
, a unique Large Charm.
