The caps are irrelevant to me and most of my guildies as we never get anywhere near them. Jobs, family and other RL stuff take precedence. Guild-rep and guild-xp are increasing, but excruciatingly slowly. Guild rep increases slowly because we simply don't play much. Guild-xp increases slowly because we don't have many players. We have many members, but most of those are alts. We might get there eventually, but it's going to be a long, long road.

I've been with my guild since it was founded around 2006. i've been with the people in it since 2005. And i'm still only honored lol. I should be like exalted, 2 years ago or so haha.
My main gripe with guild rep is that most of it is given for worthless !@#$ that doesn't matter, and very little for the things that should cap it.When I clear all the raid instances and some heroic bosses with my guild, I should max my rep for the week. Doing dailies is 100% worthless to me, and doesn't help the guild in the least. Wiping for hours and hours on progression hardmodes is what should be rewarded, not mindless grinding of trivial mobs.
I honestly don't see the big problem with the way things are - obviously the system isn't perfect and needs some tweaking, but I have faith that it will happen in time. Not as quickly as we'd like, but that's the way things go around here. There are legitimate complaints, but the majority of them seem to be nothing more than, "I'm not getting what I want fast enough/I feel entitled to have more than I already do." But... it's okay not to have instant gratification. It's okay to have something to work towards without being able to sit down and grind it out in a week or even a month. It was supposed to be something that happened naturally as you put in face time with your guild (which really makes me wonder why they're pushing dailies so hard, but hopefully that's one of the things that gets fixed), not yet another time sink for people to jump into and "get out of the way."
My guild has 110 members with half that being alts or people who don't play anymore. Also, most of the time there's only about 2-3 members only, except during evenings where there's about 8 members.Every night we try to do guild run of heroics. During December it was kinda hard because there wasn't enough 85's to do so, but now we can do then every night. We even got the Guild Cataclysm Dungeon Hero!In other words, we're pretty much a not-so-big casual guild that just got to level 10, without even hitting the daily xp cap since the hotfix to quest xp giving only 25%.Now, about guild rep... I think that guild runs should give more rep and dailies less.

Bah, CAPTCHA ate my comment, so here's my short version.I capped halfway through Hyjal leveling my main and I hit 85 in under a week. I lost all the guild rep potentially gained from the second half of Hyjal, Deepholm, Uldum and part of Twilight Highlands because I didn't realize there was a weekly rep cap. I've been playing regularly, and I'm still only 2/3rds of the way through Honored.I like the IDEA of the guild rep and leveling, but the implementation seems lacking. It's like going to the theater and realizing all the good bits were in the trailer. And Bashiok's attitude is really disheartening. It's like the players shouldn't point out perceived flaws and make suggestions on how to fix them.
