My favourite memory by far was downing Ragnaros for the first time with my boyfriend and his friends. Three level 80s and a level 73 DK. I'd never completed a raid before so it was pretty exciting. Plus my boyfriend died right at the end when he stood in the fire which made us LOL.
My favourite memory was probably completing Thunderfury after few months of farming everything that's required for the quest. The feeling when I killed the air elemental lord in Silithus, and then finished the quest to receive my reward… Equipping it for the first time… Seeing the animation, just… Awesome memory :-)
My favorite moment was when I'm just started to play. I've tried to roleplay as draenei paladin in Duskwood, buffing everyone with Blessing of Might. :)
Best Moment in wow for me... 6 Nerfed Guild (The original) vs 2 DamageNetworks Me and my guild leader held Lumber Mill for a cap steal to 5 cap against nerfed. Pally/Warrior Combo in the days of 100% mana return illumination. Easily the most awesome fight I have had in WoW. Only wish I could have recorded it.
This post was from a user who has deleted their account.
fighting gruul in tbc where mana pots were part of the rotation, bandaging urself during the fight to help the healers. that was awesome!
I have 2 moments that stand out for me. As a very casual player starting out 6 years ago I never actually thought I would hit 60. When that day came I was so excited. I think it took me 7 months to reach it. The second came when the meta-guild raid group I had become a part of downed Rag' just weeks before Burning Crusade came out. Again being a casual player and thinking I would never get the chance to raid let alone finish MC was absolutely huge.
I started playing as soon as BC came out and my favorite memory was when I finally hit 70 after the extremely long grind, and got my flying mount! At the time I thought that was simply the coolest thing ever, like being on a flight path except I could go wherever I felt like. I remember just constantly flying around Shatt. An equally exciting memory was the first time I went into a raid dungeon, which was Karazhan. That place was so cool, I always tried to figure out how once you got to the top of the tower you were somehow in space. So those were two of my favorite memories! I couldn't choose between them. :)
My favorite moment in WoW from Vanilla to now is when we downed Heroic 25 man Lich King. The tanks died so we kited him around for the last 10%. We were all laughing so hard and over joyed that we were realm first. Who needs tanks for HLK? WE DON'T!
I will never forget my first character littlelou a human mage (still play her now) was nearly 5 years ago i remember being lvl 20 ish and still running around darkshire as didnt have a clue what i was doing lolThen a very kind lvl 70 mage took me under her wing as i was asking for help and no one answered, she walked me to Stormwind and i was gobsmacked at the kindness. She precided to teach me all about wow my talents (didnt even no i had to spend points or where to find it) what a guild was, what all the WOW words ment that people was using like noob lol (didnt have a clue).Even though i have forgotten that mages name i have never forgotten her kindness and how confused i was when i first started playing wow. So now when i see a brand new player looking confused and helpless i will always do my best to help them as that was me 5 years ago. Kindness doesnt cost anything.
First of all... HAPPY BIRTHDAY WOWHEAD!Now, as for the favorite memory, I guess is back in Vanilla when I step up into my first raid. Old-ZG! It was awesome! I really had no idea what I have to do or how but after soloing most of the content till i reached lvl 60, seeing how a raid instance looks like was just... WOW! That's when I found out what wipes really are too, but I guess that's another story :P
My favourite memory is me and a couple of my guildies doing warlock's mount quest in dire maul. We were small and unexperienced, and in was tought. But it was very interesting!
My best memory is probably the first time I logged in. I played a load of games (mmo's) but this one just made me fall in love on the first 5 minutes. I was lucky enough to choose the right race and class for me on the first try (Troll Hunter - Tsunayoshi@Kor'gall) and that contributed a lot to me loving the game. From the lore to the graphics and gameplay, I was astounded by it all. It made me so happy to just finally find a game that was all I ever wanted. So yeah those 5 minutes after logging and doing the first quests will always be in my heart :D
While I've had a number of epic times on WoW (first Ragnaros down, anyone?), I think my favorite remains preening in IF just after getting my last T0 piece, at a time when it was pretty rare, and getting whisped/talked to by every other guy. It might have been only a blue set, but what the heck, it was my first :)
My favorite memory in warcraft had to be the first time I had my character in a boss kill picture. I had been raiding as a standby healer (in case someone dc'd) for several months, and so usually by the time I got a chance to come in and do a raid, the boss had already died. The guild had been working on Magtheridon, I think, and we managed to kill it. My character still had greens on and half blues and I looked like a fruitloop, but it was so exciting for me.
Hmm... My favorite memory must be... When i had created my first night elf, and just ran around in the forests of Teldrassil back in the days of classic. It was a rogue, so i spent many an hour pickpocketing npc's and ambushing people from out of nowhere. Now that was good times. :3
Just about anything I did together with my old guild on an old (not touched since June 2007) character. Stuff like when we downed Onyxia for the first time and simpler things like the Omen for the Lunar Festival.
