The best and the rest. On the same day.
'We thought it would be fun to compare both expansions and what features were available at launch.'You fools, you have no idea what horrors you have just unleashed..... *takes cover*
A shoutout to Wotlk's quest narrative.Through all of the continent you would see and learn about the misterious horrors that lied in Icecrown and Ulduar. Most of the expansions don't do this character development of its baddies, except, maybe MoP with the Sha and Garrosh.
one was great, one was bait
As someone who only picked up WoW this year, it often makes me sad that I missed the times of TBC and WotLK (especially when my friends talk about how it was). Northrend was definitely my favourite Region to get the Loremaster in.
I don't care what anyone says....Questing wise and Zone-wise Warlords is one of the best. Legion questing by comparison has been a chore.
Wrath of the Lich King, the last great Warcraft expansion for me,the rest are just posers
Wrathgate! I sincerely hope Blizz puts that content back into the game eventually. That sequence remains the most epic experience I've had in WoW to date. With the phasing technology that we have now, I see no reason why this can't be done.
Wrath of the Lich King the first expansion that I really took serious where I got into learning how to play my classes, gearing and raiding and making life long friends
I will always love Wrath of the Lich King! And please, give us the Wrathgate questchain again, one of the most epic experiences WoW has ever offered.
Say what you will about Warlords, but at least Ret Pally and Demo Lock didn't have garbage playstyles back then.
The best cinematic ever by blizzard is WOTLK!
I was around in the old good days and I can say the game has never been where it is now in terms of variety, graphic (this is obvious anyway), development and little details making everything look alive (look at recent Muffinus tweets about how much passion the oceans of Broken Isles, or think about all of those mini events) and funny.Obviously if you played WoD you know that everything was lacking a bit of depth, storyline wise. But still plenty of improvements was made.I have faith in this game, and when I look at Wotlk I see an amazing expansion but also a stepping stone for the better game we have now.
