I don't like the mythic wall for mounts, either. Blizzard doesn't have a good track record with keeping rewards in mythic so you have reason to go back to do them an expansion or more later. MoP challenge modes and WoD challenge mode rewards (precursor to mythic modes) both got removed at the end of their expansions. We don't know if Blizzard's removing the new Midnight or the Nightbane mount from mythic Return to Karazhan. History suggests they will be. For many players whose only chance of obtaining such items is to just pay for it (buy runs), it becomes tiresome. After a while, you start to question if farming gold to buy a run to get something is worth it. When you spend most of your time farming gold just to get one item, enjoyment in the game can quickly die. There are many reasons why someone can't get into a mythic group to farm:1.) Dead server and thus dead guilds (Blizzard can't do connected servers fast enough)2.) Can't find a consistent group to run with3.) Works a good part of the week4.) Don't prioritize gearing over other forms of play they enjoy more5.) Don't wish to lead or don't have the experience to lead6.) Have a paranoia of rejection so don't like to apply to groupsI personally work 12 hour shifts 3-4 days a week and will soon be working 4 days a week until likely mid or the end of June to cover a shift for a coworker. On my days off, I spend them either running around doing things outside of the house or working on personal projects. When I log into the game, I might do so from 1 pm-4 pm or so. And I might only log in on Sunday and/or Monday while skipping my other day off to do something else. Often it's a choice between running a raid, running a few dungeons, doing some world quests, leveling an alt, or skipping all of that and play test in alpha BfA instead. I was one of the lucky ones who got in last week so I'd much rather prioritize alpha over getting rejected from group after group to do a mythic run. I've been at the top of server progression being one of the few to down Kil'jaedin while he was current and I downed heroic Archimonde before Legion came out and I've also been at the bottom. My guilds constantly die every expansion and having to jump ship to hopefully maybe find a guild that's actually doing stuff and isn't so cliquey they're willing to let me run something when I'm actually playing is rare and far between. I don't have the money nor do I wish to farm the gold just to server transfer to a server which would likely not give me a chance, either. This expansion I've done little raiding outside of LFR and now I'm debating if I want to spend the gold to just buy heroic runs to get the Gul'dan and Argus mounts. For all those saying mythic runs are sooooo easy, how many of your groups do you invite random people you don't know that aren't at like 950 iLvL or better? How many people who are at like 860-900 iLvL do you reject in a given run? How often do you even do the base mythic to give lower geared people a chance instead of focusing on the highest key you can possibly get thus rejecting any player below like 940 iLvL? Something's only easy when you're the one at the top. That's like Bill Gates and Warren Buffet saying it's so easy to make money to a bunch of people living under a bridge who are lucky to even have a tent to protect them from the wind and rain. I spent over 10 YEARS trying to find a job where I live. From the time I was in high school to several YEARS after I graduated college, I couldn't find a single job anywhere that was willing to give me a chance. Everyone wanted 1-2 years of experience just to work minimum wage. I couldn't even get hired at Walmart, Loaf n' Jug, Taco Bell, McDonald's, Sam's, K-Mart, Advance Auto, Wells Fargo. Hell, I had a guy say he'd be willing to give me a job cleaning his shop but needed to interview others first. Guess what, I didn't get the job. I eventually found a minimum wage seasonal job with a call center but it was seasonal so it ended after 2 months. I did prove I was a hard worker, though. Issue was it took me another year to find my current job which I've now had for 2 years. If you aren't willing to give others a chance, don't say something is so easy because it's not for other people. All you do is make yourself look like an insensitive jerk. You might be one of those people that can walk into any business, say you need a job, and walk out with a good new job with retirement, medical, dental, vacation, etc, but not everyone is so lucky. Applying to mythic groups is no different than applying for a job. When you've put in 200+ applications and either hear nothing back or get rejection letters/phone calls, it becomes demoralizing. Same thing with mythic groups.Blizzard giving mythic modes the only access to the mounts and even achievements is Blizzard giving priority to the haves while kicking the have-nots to the curb. And if Blizzard removes the mythic mounts at the expansion's end, that's even worse because that's telling many players they can never have those rewards while dangling them right in front of those players. That's like dangling a piece of bread in front of a starving child and then eating the bread right in front of them. Eventually the kid is either going to die from neglect or someone's going to call child services and the kid will be taken away. If Blizzard offered a different color variation for heroic mode, then I wouldn't complain so much, but removing the rewards and achievements to mythic and giving heroic nothing to compensate is just cheap. It also wouldn't be so bad if Blizzard found a way to promote players playing with others and not rejecting people for arbitrary reasons like low iLvL, no achievements, etc. Blizzard could just normalize iLvL for runs or have the mobs scale to the average iLvL of the group.Blizzard just keeps promoting rejection over acceptance. And then everyone wonders why the community is so toxic. These's so much hostility lately all over. Is it too much to ask for Blizzard, FOR ONCE, to promote working together and accepting others regardless of stupid crap like achievements, gear, experience, etc? I'm not talking about the story. I'm talking about getting players to work together rather than having people reject someone for something stupid. A ripple is started by a single drop.
Love that they're adding more mounts do dungs!
Idk why people are complaining, Mythic dungeons aren't difficult at all. Just know your class and have decent gear and you should be fine.Dead server? Start a group in Custom and remove auto invite, then choose who joins or not.
If I ever get this mount, Im deleting it immediatly to kill this MFer. In fact, I might farm it several times just to delete it over and over again.#JusticeForMews
Am I the only who thought head-crab?
they are so ugly they are cute
I’m glad it’s at least available on regular mythics. At least it’s not only mythic +10 or something like that. It’s an incentive for me to run more mythics, and that’s cool with me. 🙂
If I'm not mistaken, won't base Mythics be queueable in LFD in BfA? That'll make the 'wall' a complete non-issue. No fear of rejection. That's perfect for anxious little baby no-friends like me, lol.
Somebody is upset. Not me, i'm having fun listening to the dumb people in this community.
