Island with exploring, like Indiana Jones? Count me in.
They should fix the bloody incursions happening too late. That and drops each time when winning. And how come the big rare chests on heroic mode drops 0 loot. The whole island loot system need an makeover now.

I'd say a fair few people do their Island Expiditions just for the AP/rep, and many of those really don't care much for cosmetic items. I'd be willing to bet a few items have just been vendored/trashed that could have gone to a new home with someone that didn't beat the insane RNG to get an item they wanted.
Finally all will be cagable. I've done hundreads trying to get the last pet i need which can't be traded <.<

There is already a currency for the Island Expiditions: Doublons. They should just put all the pets, quest items, toys to the vendors on the ship what you can buy from Doublons. You can get Doublons if you win, and the problem is solved....at least you can feel you did some progress when you win. You can buy the things you are looking for and not just RNG again and again. The whole Island Expedition thing is about RNG, what players hate. It's randomized which 3 island is available on the week, randomized which vendor is there, randomized where they put the ships, randomized which event can occur. RNG on and on...
Why are the bloody transmogs so rare? Ive been looking on the AH, and on my med realm some sets still havent been seen in their entirety. Is it intended it takes two years, 2mil+ or 2000+ islands to get a mog set?
I like the concept of Island Expeditions, but the execution there seems too straightforward. Hope those exploration mechanics become more of a priority over pulling half and island and using aoe abilities on rares, like it is nowadays. That would make it much more fun!
Add challenges that change the way the game is won. For example, right now it is all about the azerite score.With the Indiana Jones theme idea, one task could be the team that finds the big score treasure first (worth 60% of total azerite for win) with a few puzzles and acrobatics in the way instead of just mobs.Here are some ideas that could work beyond the simple farming:- Tomb Raider: find the elusive treasure- Escort vs Assassination: - Warcraft III Lite: fort building where both teams start with nothing... players defend and attack while AI does most of the housekeeping. Spend some azerite currency like iron in Battle for Stromgarde to populate peons, soldiers, etc- Occupy WC: Arathi Basin or Deepwind Gorge style but with 12+ conquer points guarded by the various island mobs. Capturing a point adds Faction NPC guards like Alterac Valley with alerts when the guards are attacked. Hold points longer for the win.- Mines: down and dirty azerite mining and transport. Unique vehicles including mine carts, subs, tanks, planes, kakas, and counters for all of them.Yes, this adds yet another RND to the game, but it makes it a bit more like the Random PvP Battleground where you don't know what you are going to get.
