great. retcons. maybe i'll pass on warcraft 3 remastered
I never cared much for Christie's writing, but I guess it's staying.ffs.
just give us some wallpapers already
Why the hell are they going to get rid of ""outdated"" references? Gameinformer article mentions dial up modems. That ^&*! was funny and still is.Christie can write the books and rewrite the story, she's good at that. From what they explained, I'm not worried.I just don't want the charm to go away. Getting rid of bits of dialogue like Thrall saying "Great now let's get out of here" is unnecessary and I don't understand their mindset behind it.
Wonder , if they will change the night elves in WC3:Remastered to be punching bags like they are in wow.
Holy crap people are acting like they are taking War3 and obliterating it.It's still there dear lord. Why are you all being so ridiculous?
I don't mind at all a few adjustments... I´ll always have the original game to play if I want it as it was, this is reforged, it's remade, which means it can have a few liberties as long as it doesn't change the story. I think being too purist is bad if it closes your eyes to some good innovation. the game has a few dated elements and i really think it might help the storytelling if they give it a small fix.
I have no issue with them altering the story to fit the minor changes and retcons WoW has introduced. But having Golden be in charge of it gives me the feeling it’s gonna end up being terrible.
Golden is in charge? Hard pass. She writes terrible books and now terrible expansions. Not about to buy another golden mess.
Fans - the worst group of recipient. Always mad and disappointed xd
I believe we will have skins, much like we have in SC2
I wonder what they will do with some very gender-specific heroes, like priestess of the moon, naga witch, keeper of the grove, Dreadlord and KING of the mountain. Some of those are very entrenched in the lore (Priestess of Elune being mostly if not all female, Keepers of the grove being all male, which is the same for dreadlords), if they make lets say a female version of the Keeper of the Grove while not giving a male version of the Priestess i can see fans calling out "feminist bs" (which might actually be just them thinking that people will care less for "male respresentation" in heroes than "female representation"), while if they do give us male priests of the moon, it would actually clash with the lore, making fans angry.I guess that unless they dont touch the gender of those Heroes/heroines they will get ^&*! no matter the path they take.
