I just recently returned to the game and have not completed all of my professions in Legion. I jumped into BFA and was wondering if I need to level up my Alchemy in Legion first or can I just do BFA alchemy?Would the game in BFA require me to have the levels and my professions done in Legion or not?
Wow, this thread seems to lose focus of the topic very easily XD.Regarding the usefulness of professions in BfA, I'm one of the people that feel very disappointed with the way Blizzard has taken with professions the last couple of expansions. What used to be a fun way to customize a character, even as a time and gold sink, has been lost with recipes that give mediocre stats and abilities (which I think was not as severe in Legion thanks to the Artifact Weapons and Obliterum). I would love to return to the time were, even if you had to farm dungeons for the recipes, they had more usefulness in the long run. It's ridiculous that the last tier of recipes for most of the professions are easily surpassed by daily quest rewards and that some of the professions are practically useless compared to the previous expansions (until now I have only leveled JC for completion sake since most of the stuff I make is either scrapper fuel or things than not even my alts can use unless they have sockets in their gear :/)
