Is very funny to see the horde outrage when alliance turns wmode on and start behaving like horde did all the way from start until 8.1. Guess is not fun to gank when you get a response. Also is refreshing to see that consecutively to horde complaints, alliance bonus will be nerf. Then less alliance will turn wmode on and horde will complain that there are too few to gank. The cycle of wpvp can be cruel...
"The Heart of Azeroth in 8.2 will be more similar to Legion's Artifact Weapons, with active abilities and powers which can be upgraded and customized based on the content you do."Oh, please let one power increase the drop rate of Island rewards..
To be fair, even with the thirty percent warmode bonus, on my realm there are still way more horde than alliance
Blizzard I dunno how to tell you that "Our 30% buff and ilevel 400 gear for deathballing flightpaths is making a lot of Horde player just give up on PVP" isn't something to be proud of."Our fix to the previous imbalance is so much worse, people just aren't bothering and thus the imbalance is fading" is not an improvement.
"Traffic in our city is down 40%! All because we eliminated any attractions, amenities, or reasons to visit!"
50 characters on one realm? Great, but shouldn't they really address the account base cap first?Think about it: a veteran account's typically expected (this is going by how Allied Races were launched and given their own character slots) to have all 12 classes on both factions, plus an overflow of 6 (about to be 8) for AR slots. We're about to hit a "typical character cap" of 20 per server come 8.1.5, and that'll only become worse when the next two batches release (bringing us to a likely total of 24 a server/48 on the account by the end of BFA).
Quote:Are you trying to get away from the holy trinity design? Can healers get higher DPS in PvE?Really? Come on, Healers aren't satisfied being a God? It is hard to kill you and most classes can't kill a priest one on one and you want more DPS? Are you kidding me? Play a DPS if you want to DPS. If Blizzard did something like that, watch the whole community go wild.
Just wait till we have flying in 8.2, world PvP will be dead.
He answered with "The problem with valor points still remains even if you used it to upgrade your gear as it makes it difficult to transition from tier to tier. "But I think the major concern isn't about upgrades, its about being able to work towards and actually obtain a piece of gear for a specific slot. The RNG when you need 1 out of 14 slots is just not fun at all and bad-luck protection such as a currency system completely solves that problem while ensuring players have to put the time into it.Then he mentions maybe at the last patch of the xpac... but again, what does that have to do with upgrading gear. Just like Legion it was about *getting* the Legiondary you need, not upgrading it. Example: playing aff lock w/o the leggo that made corruption slow all mobs was impossible - took me over a year to get it.. Then they put in currency and I got it. Why is it ok to put something that important, something that locked you out of M+, behind RNG? It's not ok.
it is funny how once a major guild switches to alliance - if only for a time right now - thus alleviating the faction balance that developed for the past years you go back on the incentives that caused them to switch.the medicine is working and then you go on and stop taking them before the result is achieved. makes sense.and nerfing the pvp reward from 400 to 385 next week will be not that meaningful anyway because next week you will get 400 by doing m+ every single run.
Blizzard realized that when they said "major changes" to Shaman in 8.1 it was misinterpreted as being major changes, instead of just a couple ^&*!ty numbers changes.
