The commandment saying not to be a jerk rings true in all aspects of life. People don’t want to deal with a**holes. So why would goblins be any different?A fellow goblin is a jerk? Then yeah boycott all the way.
What do you like to spend your gold on? What's the most expensive thing you've ever bought? Have you ever gambled with an unclaimed container on the Black Market?Regarding this discussion topic, i have to admit that im a sucker for mounts...i want all the mounts on the AH so i usually spend my gold on them and after 2-3 days of buying a mount i start to cry inside after that gold cause i want to buy another mount and im always broke. And yes I have gambled on black markets unclaimed container but always lost them...which is kinda ironic cause after every lost i was happy since i didn't part with my gold. Cant remember the most expensive thing that i've bought but without a doubt it has to be some mount, since they are my money spenders.
I like to spend my gold on unobtainable stuff like TCG pets, mounts or on the Unclaimed Black Market Auction House. The most expensive thing I bought though was the Lightforged Warframe for 500k (or 525k, can’t remember that well).
What do you like to spend your gold on? What's the most expensive thing you've ever bought? Have you ever gambled with an unclaimed container on the Black Market?I like spending money on M+ consumables! I'm spamming them nowadays.I bought a very expensive agi weapon for my DK alt... >_<
The long boi is a good investment. I feel like posting auctions anywhere especially in a place with no AH helps. Like Boralus
I like to spend gold on pets from auction house. My most expensive items were the exalted mounts from Order of the embers and Proudmoore admiralty.I have never bought a black market container.
What do you like to spend your gold on? What's the most expensive thing you've ever bought? Have you ever gambled with an unclaimed container on the Black Market?I spend my gold mostly on transmog items and trade goods such as ores and herbs. The most expensive thing I have ever bought is Sunstone Panther which I got for about 35k gold. I haven't bought an unclaimed container since I don't use black market much because I'm online mostly during the day time and the "gambling" happens quite late.
I usually spend my gold on mounts, pets and toys. I like to collect stuffs, so those are like my priorities lol.The most expensive thing I've bought is the Minion of Grumpus, I think. I was farming it but it just wouldn't drop so I bought it.I have never gambled with an unclaimed container on the Black Market. I'm afraid I'll just get something an old item for another class lol.
I've found Anchor Weed the easiest way to make a bit of cash this expac. I don't get to play as much these days, so Anchor farming + Anchorbag transmutation has kept my gold in healthy enough shape.
It is easier to spend gold when you don't have much. There is a time investment that comes with gold that creates a bond between you and it. The nice thing about it and being a goblin is that spending it gives the chance to make more. It is also easier to make money once you have made it before since you know how the markets work and what works. I myself draw a line in the Sand that I will not pass a certain amount or go under.
I like spending my gold on game time, game balance and mounts, lots of mounts. :)Thou i find it hard to buy the 2 million Spider or the 5 million Brutusaur. Each time i think about it, i do the math and its alot of game time/game balance. For example, at current token price, the Brutusaur is more then 2 year game time, so 24 months x 15 euros, wich means way over 300 euros. And people say 25 euros for store mount is expensive hehe
I feel like "fear of spending what little gold I have" is a huge mental obstacle to getting started in gold-making in the first place, counter-intuitive as it is. Last night, I angsted over buying another bank tab for a measly 5k, which is ridiculous. I'm regularly hitting 15-20k on characters I play casually on the way to 120.Much as I'd like to have a fair amount of gold, every time I try to play the AH, I flop. It's like I'm missing something -- some fact or technique or insight -- that's intuitive to so many other people.A couple months ago, I worked to farm the recipes and mats for the Sun Darter Hatchling puzzle. I know I'm behind the times on this one, but I put up the spare potions on the AH and was surprised to make 15k... once. I've listed the remaining potions and items (ethereal oil, "little princess" costume, etc.) several times and haven't sold anything. And the market is incredibly flaky. Some of the major resist potions are selling for 3500 each, while others are being undercut down to 150. So, I gave up. The potions are sitting in the gbank, where they're making no money at all, because why waste the time and silver to list them in the first place?Same with Aethrynn's Everwarm Chestplate. I got one randomly while doing a Legion invasion a few weeks ago and thought I'd struck gold. But I've put it on the AH a few times, and it's never sold, even though I'm undercutting the two or three other ones I see listed. I'm considering equipping it just to have it in my transmog list, because why not? It doesn't seem like anyone's ever going to buy it unless I list it for some absurdly low figure.
I think the most expensive thing I've ever bought is a wow token (I know, lame, but it was nice).
I believe I paid around 20k gold to a Shaman for a Objeto desprendido extraño, back in Wrath of the Lich King. Those were the days!In my defense, it was best in slot for Affliction Warlocks :P
i usually like to have enough gold to buy pretty much anything that i need for my character without too much hesitation (pots, food, flasks, gear). The most expensive item was the long boi :) so worth it
I resumed playing wow mid WoD, maybe a month before the garrison gold nerf, so i missed out on that gold train. I made a few hundred thousand at the start of this expansion with darkmoon cards mostly. The most gold i spent was i think for a 6 months subscription (the one you get a month for free with) and destiny 2 forsaken + annual pass at the same time, which left me with only around 100k gold left.
I don't really spend my gold unless I have to, for repairs and such. I try to stay self-efficient and craft everything I need myself. I got an alt for every profession so there are no crafting costs really, just time investment. However, I would spend gold on mounts and pets but then mostly end up farming them myself though. I am currently saving up for the Bronto mount but it will be a long time before I can afford that one. Been learning a lot about TSM these past few days... The most expensive thing I ever bought was the spider mount from Legion. I've never really gambled on the black market AH but I might give it a go sometime.
I tend to spend gold fairly freely, to a limit that I don't go below (usually between 600-800K). Mostly on mats for crafting, flipping, and tokens. The tokens is the primary reason why I am a gold maker though, having a collector's edition of every game I want, as soon as I want it, plus "free" wow time was too much of a draw (plus I just plain like doing it).
