As far as I know, they fixed the water jump completely with 8.1.5.And you forgot that a rogue can simply pull the whole trash, your group walks past and he vanish-resets the pack.

Shroud skip in works on teeming, cause the sight mobs only gain sight on being engaged in combat. After boss you can't vanish skip this pack, but as in this news explained there are plenty other possibilities to skip that pack on the way out

Option 2, step 4, says: "The player in combat should not drop combat using their class ability" but shouldn't that "not" be removed? You want them to drop combat after everyone is past, correct?
I think there’s a small typo. The second method, step 4 says:The player in combat should not drop combat using their class ability: Invisibility, Feign Death, Vanish, Shadowmeld.I think it should be now drop combat. Also, great methods! Edit: just saw someone else posted this. My bad!
Over the water with gateway works in 8.1.5, but it's really tricky now.
I hate fighting over this pack every time I get to it. Seriously just CC two fatties and pull others to side. Then re CC one single target totem one fatty two fatty.

if they didn't remove it, you may do a gateway through the rock (and "pass" over the water) instead of jumping on the boss platform.It give the possibility to come back with the gate and then not pulling/Tank Death to leave the area
