Good. No offense to the Tyrande fans but she is BORING as hell. I'd rather they put the focus on more interesting characters like Thrall, Saurfang, Jaina, and Sylvannas.
The first character I ever made was a Night Elf and they've always been my favorite. The burning of Teldrassil was very upsetting and to say that she got her revenge is absolutely ridiculous. I am very disappointed.
So Tyrande's revenge was struggling against Nathanos - despite performing a ritual to transition to tune-up her power level - and casting Starfall on a Forsaken outpost? How dissatisfying.I kinda always knew the Night Elf story would be destitute yet Blizzard have even managed to go below my expectations. Meanwhile Jaina and Nathanos get a look into just about every single act.

Sad... just sad
Even though I am rooting for Sylvanas in BFA, but I cant get it. "Tyrande had her revenge"? HOW? By killing a Valkyre? I have no words to say.
She "got as much revenge for the Night Elves as we're willing to give an Alliance hero in a narrative that reflects negatively on the Horde."Fixed it for ya.
Blizz: "Oh, we don't have time to give night elves story in 8.2, Rise of Azshara, a character so steeped in Night Elf lore it's ridiculous and night elf fans should be happy with how things turned out in Darkshore."Also Blizz: "Here's another Orc cinematic. Is there anyone still playing alliance?"
This post was from a user who has deleted their account.
That's code for: "We forgot Night Elves existed again, despite one of their main antagonists being central to the current story arc."
Yikes just yikes it seems they really want the Night elfs out of the story can't have a race that hates the Horde on the Alliance.
The story is pathetic. The game is pathetic. All of that blame goes on its creators and writers. The only ones I still have faith in are the art and music teams. Everyone else has failed utterly and completely./spit
No, she didn't. Saurfang, Nathanos, and Sylvanas would be dead if that was the case.
look, i like jaina and all and i think that she can be in every damn patch no problem. But jesus that is NO excuse to not have FREAKING TYRANDE vs her ARCHNEMESISwhy even GENN is on nazjatar? i understand jaina being there bacause her fleet gets destroyed by azshara BUT WHY THE HELL GENN?And come on, what revenge? darkshore is on a limbo, nathanos literally mocked her and escaped after raising new nelfs, and tyrande? she sends you to kill some dumb murlocs. They didn't even let her reclaim darkshore yet.WHAT A PIECE OF GARBAGE IS THIS?GO TO HELL BLIZZ!
What revenge? Killing a single Val'kyr? Doesn't justify the massive loss of Teldrassil and every civilian in Ashenvale.
So Draenei are allowed to conclude their whole arc by going to Argus and being involved in that campaign, yet Night Elves, particularly Tyrande and Malfurion, are not allowed to partake in one of the most important campaigns relevant to their people because "well they invaded Darkshore again and they killed a Val'kyr, so they're even now"? Give me a break, this is pathetic on Blizzard's end. Shame on them for sidelining the Night Elves out of this moment just because the Night Elves can't fit in Blizzard's hamfisted narratives.I think regardless of whether you are Horde or Alliance, you should be condemning this deplorable narrative choice. Every race should have their moment to conclude their main antagonism, and Nazjatar is an important point for Blood/High/Void Elves, Nightborne, AND Night Elves. Bring Tyrande and Malfurion in, Blizzard, do not end 8.2 on a major disappointing note.
