…..if they wanted people to buy level boosts, they could just make them cheaper.
Gawd this is just going g to end up with trolls going do off during time walkig weeksWay to think about stuff blizzard
Getting scammed is such a small reason, and they woudn't even notice an influx of tickets being sent in about people getting scammed for 110-120 freehold boosting.
I try not to be negative, I try to see things from their perspective, but as a former builder of worlds (I ran my own NWN server once), there comes a point where the host's view of "don't defeat my baby" overcomes the goal of selling fun. It's a year in. 120 "ain't that serious," if people are leveling faster, LET THEM, you've all but admitted that leveling is broken, just... I hesitate to say "get over yourself," but in this lull I've started playing other games, not MMOs but just other games, and... well get over yourself. People will get 120. That's a given in this genre. You can't and never will get away with making leveling a skill test, that genie is out of the bottle. *sigh* I need to go find something to be happy about in WoW now, I don't wanna be captain negative.
I think they assume that all the people that like using exploits will be playing classic anyway. :PThen again this is for people who don't seem to really want to play the game, so a bit of a conundrum :/I don't think this kind of thing is good for the game. But it does seem like the typical kind of solution common today.Easy fix instead of best fix.
I wonder does the person that turned their XP off also gets this buff? They don't get XP anyway so it wouldn't affect them. If they don't that could be a way to identify the griefer.
Oh yikes. So if you get randomed into an island or dungeon group with a twink, you're just screwed? And if you're playing a twink, you're going to be unable to queue into randoms without getting shouted at? Because god forbid twinks queue into randoms, either by themselves or with a friend they want to help out?
I level BFA specifically through Islands. I really hope this isn't a troll's paradise right here.
No fun allowed!
It looks like instead of improving gameplay and game experience they are really after all twinks and anything that makes you level faster. If only made the levelling enjoyable people won't use the boosts and etc. For some reason, they always tend to punish players for their shortcomings. I really wonder how with this approach they still sit at the top for the game entertainment business.
Fun detected, fun nerfed. Level our way and our way only (questing) or !@#$ off. Hardly unexpected I'd say.
Blizz really hates the idea of people reaching endgame, eh? Because playing through the exact same story content for the fifth time was so exhilarating, I went and started playing a different game instead. Great job, guys.
I cant see them implementing this. i hope not. Freehold boosting actually makes them money with people buying tokens, what shame to see the disconnect that they have from the community.
