Great UI improvement, Not sure how I'm going to like the tomtom thing just yet (after so many years having to press the map key to look and even before that when you had to have an add-on or try to figure it out yourself that leaves some nostalgia) but I'm the positive side of things.A lot of good news so far!
THESE ARE AMAZING!I do hope the waypoint marker thing is able to be turned off, though, I'm not a big fan of those either. I bet it will be though.
I disagree, they are improving the marker for main storyline quests, and keeping the same old marker for side quests...
That major questline thing is one of the best features of this expansion :)One more settings should be able to mute NPC's default greeting and goodbye sounds. Sometimes it's quite irritating to have voice overs mixed up.
hopefully this will come with /waypoint xx.00 xx.32 feature so I don't have disable to run tomtom.thank you for listening.
This is the BEST THINGS EVAA
Yes! Still gonna keep TomTom and Paste for those "36 points to check for a spawn" situations
So question where the new side quest markers than?
I do like these new things kinda reminds me of other game i play won't say not sure if allowed to but i have fun on all my games i play.
Thanks blizz. These are great Quality of Life improvements!
I am hoping this nav thing can be turned off as well. One thing I do when I play any MMO is to declutter my screen as much as possible. Which means no names, or indicators, or anything to distract from the graphics. This nav marker looks cool if you need it, but I really don't want to see it unless I specifically click on it.
This is incredibly irritating, they installed a new "map pin" system overwriting a keybind for Tom Tom, and then don't reference it in the keybinds screen. So we can't get rid of it and use TomTom which is still much more useful.
Does anybody know if the 'TomTom, pointing you in the direction of quest objectives' can be hanged to kilometers/meters rather than yards which i think is an american measurement?
I'm also a tomtom user irritated by the map pin rebind. They somehow "forgot" to put an option to rebind the map pin in the game, the obvious conclusion is that they are trying to force tomtom out of the game by making life particularly awkward for the users. That's kinda childish. Just put the option to rebind it into the keybinds, let us decide for ourselves what we want bound where.
Is there a slash command to place a map pin at my current location?
If there was a way to disable the Map Pin so they don't even appear that would be great. Its annoying that i am tracking a quest and suddenly, cause a rare spawns, it moves what i am tracking cause of the map pin. Many times thinking i missed where i was going i go to find its a rare that i am uninterested in.
