I feel like this is a step in the wrong direction. The powers are, obviously, incredible, which is where the problem lies. The first issue is the illusion of choice, since higher parsing traits will overshadow all the others. Azerite traits had the same problem: you are offered a wide variety of different ways to boost your performance in the form of passive traits that augment your abilities in a certain way. While this sounds good, in truth, you didn't actually have access to a large collection of options you could freely choose from. There were traits better than others, and to even reach an optimal level in your performance, you had to choose them. Which brings us to the next issue: borrowed power. At the end of Legion, losing the artifact traits was a massive hit to many specs. At the end of BfA, the disappearance of the azerite traits will be similar. We will yet again lose access to the tools that granted us the necessary powers that made specs feel good. Then these craftable legendaries will appear. The main problem here is how these legendary effects will collide with Blizzard's class design. If a legendary effect contributes too much to how a spec feels and how it performs, it will become compulsory. Which yet again brings us to a point where you are forced to grind out your legendary, just like you had to grind artifact power, azerite and correct azerite trait gear. A specialization needs to feel complete without all of these additional effects. I feel like these traits add way too much, and many of them should just be baseline. The Classic legendaries worked, not only because they are really hard to get and require a lot of time investment, but they also did not interact with certain abilities in as intimate a way as these legendary effects do. If these powers alter how a specialization plays way too much, then the system is already heading south. These won't feel good. A specialization needs to be able to stand on its own two feet before borrowed power comes into play. You can't tune a spec around it, or the spec will just feel completely underwhelming to play. You also can't make the legendary effects weak, or nobody will bother to get them. If they are too weak, they are useless. If they are too strong, they are compulsory. Either way, they don't feel legendary. Either they are junk, or they are the standard. I feel like they are making these too good, to ensure many people will be motivated to work towards them. However, they won't have a choice of which they want to get, as getting the best effect is the most logical. And if the best effect is way too good for a certain specialization, they won't even have the choice of not getting it.I hope they find the aurea mediocritas here. So far, this legendary system has me worried.
These look promising. Especially like the return of the Death March legion legendary effect, loved that back in the day in M+. If there also will be an Executioner's Precision legendary for warriors... man oh man, there is nothing I want more than that. I could make my class fun again
the amount of people that haven't even taken 2 minutes to look #$%^ up before !@#$%ing is just astounding.THIS ISN'T AZURITE PEOPLE!

Does the Warrior's Misshapen Mirror only apply the Reflect portion to the party/raid or does it apply the magic damage reduction as well? If it's the latter then that could be pretty powerful for raids and m+.

I don't mind the expansion specific power, I just hope these old bonuses are placeholders and they come up with some new stuff.
As a severe altoholic for years (since Wrath), I am so looking forward to many of those Death Knight legendary abilities. Finally a great combo for DK's! Especially that T-12 "come back" T-12 set bonus from ICC. In Legion, I considered Shard of the Exodar and Cord of Infinity as my go-to Mage set in the beginning, but then changed to and preferred Sephuz's Secret over Shard of the Exodar. Really looking forward to see what the "DNT" combinations will be for Prot Warrior, and I hope they bring in abilities that really utilized Anger Management to its OP fullest.I try to look past all the non-specific complaints and focus more on those with detailed disagreements about how one particular item possibly "ruins" a class ability. For example, the Legion Artifact Weapons and Legion Legendary changes and removals were real, valid and provable complaints, and there still has not been an Azerite Power that has met the OP Power those gave, especially combined together with the Artifact tree, which always reminded me of the old talent tree system that I also still miss. There have been so many wonderful combinations that they have removed with different expansions that have left me shaking my head "why". With all that said, I'm for one looking forward to these changes in SL, even though I will probably moan about their acquisition requirements in the privacy of my home. Here's to combining the past with the future. /clinks glass
