Agree with deleting RIO and same scores. It's just increase toxicity of comunity. Non-meta class? Decline. Not a 4k score dude listing in 15 key? Decline.
RIO = a infinite grind it feels like wasting time no reward besides doing 15+ intime in every dungeon. For me M+ is only there to do the weekly and to gear up for the mythic raid in the first couple weeks and helping guildies rl friends sometimes strangers getting their weekly done. I also use it to gear alts or to make Gold by Boosting. Just my Opinion the M+ community is one of the most Toxic WoW communties we have after the WoW classic one.M+ wont change at all in Shadowlands but the Dungeons look alot better from the Design and have some interesting new Mechanics.
"Reroll to a better class", okay, thanks!

I enjoy IO because while its not a guarantee, it makes it far less likely I'll wind up with a player(s) who want to waste an hour of my time
ill would like to see m+ mmr ingame by blizzard ;) and same-ish rewards as arena players get.. like transmogg+illusions+mounts+titles so that high keys getting some small cool rewards (and not only for boring +15)
Reroll to a better class.....whoah, This is damaging behaviour. No need at all for meta class for keys up to +15. Just state that if you want to push far into the +20 range you might consider a meta class. But please don't state it like this :-(.
raider io is a not good i think so many ppl buy boost service for gold or money.. and they raise io points so quickly...then they join dungeons and play like %^&*.. destroy keys.. destroy ppl...
IO score isn't complicated, and the only "guide" should be explaining how the score is created. ie, The score is a composite of the highest timed M+ dungeons you've run this season. Running a +2 key of every dungeon is worth more (~20x12= 240) io score than a single dungeon as a +10 (~100 x1 = 100)."Get carried, reroll class, get better, run with friends" is ridiculous to be called a "guide".And for the record, io score isn't toxic. It's a tool, and tools aren't toxic. What IS toxic, are people, in this case people that only look at someone's score to determine if they'll let you run dungeons with them.
"reroll a better class" after this is i half expected "get gud"
Eh, this article is really ..... not that great, sorry. "Reroll to a better class" and "Playing with people who are better than you" aswell as "Stop using LFG" just reads like bad satire, not a guide. Honestly, just make your own groups, and play with friends would be my best advise. Also don't leave keys if you can finish them, time doesn't matter that much for RiO.
This is all but contructive ..The point tettles is missing is , that people like to play a class they like , and dont want to match the flavor of the month/ meta. Not everyone has friends playing this game where they can rely on improving their io score.Back in the day we did not like gearscore , aswell as we dont like ilvl or r.io.It simply put the players in 2 categories: , The Pro's and the Noobs , which in the long run lets peopleleave the game instead of kept playing. You can say its not toxic , while it is toxic. You always will have good and bad players, but how do you make bad players good ? match the '' bad '' players with good players so the '' bad '' players learn from the '' Good '' players. We srsly dont need BS like r.io to make a dungeon or raid run entertaining like it should be.I'm lucky myself im surrounded by friends where i can do dungeon or raid runs with , but not everyone is this lucky.
The only way to fix it is to delete the entirety of M+ from the game, or at least to make Rio and any other tools like it completely forbidden. People can be so #$%^ing toxic when it comes to this, as if their lives depended on it. It's even worse than doing raids with pugs. There has got to be a way to do M+, up to and including 15+, without those damn gatekeeping elitists and their useless little website deciding who is and isn't good based solely on something totally irrelevant, rather than judging person performance. If I actually said what I think about this toxic "community", if you can even call it that, I'd probably get banned 10 times over. As a good player who stopped before the end of legion and came back half way through BfA, with no friends to play with or a guild to fall back on, I came face to face with a wall that made it impossible to do M+ despite being pretty good at the game. Half way through NYA M, 1700 rating, few timed 15's, 477ilvl, still can't get into groups... What a joke. Can't even imagine what it's like for people who didn't get as far as I have. I have some friends now, some better than others, and I can't tell you just how discouraging this is to people who don't do M+ often. I keep thinking I had it rough, then I hear their stories. Now queue 50 "LOOOOOL DUDE JUST GET A HIGHER SCORE" comments.
