Well gj Rise.So... was it the crappy comp that had more impact on failing C'thun in the past or ppl just got better playing the game now? Didn't expected this fast.
Everything is easy when you know all the answers someone else figured out for you.It's like landing on the South Pole with a helicopter going "EZ, EZ".
People expected things to be hard but its really only easy because of the knowledge that is known today compare to back then and that is the fact do i still play the game and raid? yeah because i like to have fun its not about how hard the content is sure a challenge can be awesome but its really about weather one is having fun doing what there doing or not an i feel the community has lost this aspect of thinking in a lot of ways and needs to re-think how this old content is looked at.
Retail has guides on day one and no guild clear clears a whole mythic raid within the first week. Or a full clear in 45 mminutes.
After all the griefing <Total Disaster> did to Anachronos in Tanaris (hope Blizzard lives up to their blue post on griefing the Scepter Chain)Rise proved they are the best speedrunning guild in NA tonight. Grats to everyone involved!
Pretty laughable to compare mythic, a level for raids created specfically for 'top end raiders' to classic raids where there was no such design. Retail normal/heroic gets cleared day 1 really quickly. Just saying.
I'm 100% sure the first guild to kill all bosses in AQ did it 14 years ago
I find it hilarious that people still feel the need to compare retail WoW to Classic when it comes to PvE. Classic has been around for 15 years, private servers included. People have dismantled EVERY-SINGLE-FIGHT in the game, studied every class to its' core, experimented with talent specs and gear till they came up with optimal raid comps. In retail WF guilds clear new raids within 8-10days and that content is current and infinitely more difficult. Still, clearing a new raid within 1-2 resets (MAX) is insane. AQ seemed extremely easy after 15 years of experience but then again expecting any different outcome would have been as ridiculous as thinking a mathematician would have trouble solving 6th grade math problems the same way he did back when he was a 12 year old student himself.
