He gets what he deserves. Ofc an eternity of torment is too much, so still better than being sent to the Maw. Eventually, he'll be released or freed or whatever, as there is hope for everyone, even for dudes and dudettes like him. So, I'd say we're good here. Very buddhist stuff, scorching the sin away from the corrupted soul with the fires of hell. I like blizz taking more mature and decent approach towards their stories.
Garrosh is a cow
Aaaah, I love when Horde players say that Garrosh did nothing wrong, it really suits the degenerative ideology of the Horde, lore wise. Can't wait till we have some genocide quests from Tyrande or Jaina, something like burning down Thunder Bluff cowshed and killing flee civilian npcs would be awesome.
Guess he ended up a slave after all
Blizzard is too cowardly to let us do something interesting like free Garrosh and finish what he started.
As long as Jaina stays in the depths of the Maw, I'm ok with Garrosh.
Times change, eh chinboy?
Still no announcement on prepatch release date :| that sucks
Garrosh isn't technically being tortured. He is being continuously harvested for his Anima.
I would come back to play retail if the end of the expansion involved us smuggling Garrosh out of the Shadowlands so he can become the Warchief again.
MY WARCHIEF LIVES... LOK'TAR OGAR!
As says the Joker, "You get what you *!@#ing deserve" !
Screw all the people who hate on garrosh... I loved him and hated being forced to depose him as warchief... the Horde was forged time and again by great orc heroes who often were flawed but through it all did what they did for the orcish people, tauren trolls and blood elves and even forsaken can never accept that, that said nobody will ever lead like Orgrim Doomhammer, nor will anyone be as great as he was. Thrall threw away any respect i had for him long ago, he dishonors the legacy of great heroes like Grom and Orgrim... anyways Garrosh lead the horde like an Orc born into a shattered world would... much of outland is barren and wartorn, where those who make it home have to fight tooth and nail for what they have... yes nagrand is a pretty and idyllic place but like anywhere else in outland it taught those there to fight for what they needed... so to say an Orc like Garrosh, heir to the great legacy of his father, is not going to do the same things he would have done to in outland to ensure his peoples survival (durotar being a literal desert) is simply BS.When he rose to become warchief he did all he did to ensure his peoples future was as bright and glorious as he could, the rest of the horde came second... now you can not like that all you want, but as an example if a tauren is warchief... he is a racial leader first and foremost... an orc warchief is no different. he lead his people first and foremost while the other racial leaders of the horde couldn't stop #$%^ talking him all the while for it. honestly i'm surprised he put up with it for as long as he did. he leveled theramore because it was a major port right on his back door... now idk if anyone here knows strategy but if any major offensive is launched the first place boots on the ground would be deployed is a place like theramore, a military base with easy access to the barrens and plenty of forward outposts (northwatch in the southern barrens as well as tiragarde keep right outside razor hill) to maintain forward momentum on the path to war... HELL THE ALLIANCE WAS PLANNING TO BUILD A #$%^ING ROAD THROUGH THE BARRANS... eliminate such a stronghold and deprive your enemy of an easy way to destroy your home. but don't take my word for it, look at maps, and the northern and southern barrens quest chains horde side if you don't believe me.Garrosh made hard decisions and put his people first... then you have vol'jin who didn't do anything save supplying the player with his verbal support in draenor, and charging headlong to his death in legion... and then there's sylvanas... even thrall who gave up his hammer, threw away orgrim's armor and cast aside his position as warchief to become jesus and maybe find spiritual guidance... for a few expacs... Orgrim i'm sure is rolling over in his grave... he went to pandaria and was met with alliance resistance the moment his men arrived, and shall me not forget that the entire island was on the verge of succumbing to the influence and corruption of a #$%^ing old god, but i digress, hate Garrosh all you want... HE IS BACK, so can i say i giant F U to all the people who cant stop *!@# talking him!I just hope to green jesus that blizz does the right thing and lets us free him, id ask for his reinstatement as warchief but unlike thrall i don't put much stock in miracles...
This just make Garrosh even more badass.
Lightingfist said:Garrosh and Kael are very similar in terms of overall character. No need for more cringe virtue signaling, post mortem or not.
