First....dangit nevermind (hmm didn't realize this annoyed so many people, i thought the first thing was all in good fun)I think that wowhead is very good in general and so is wow but in wow i think that pvp has started to get in the way of PvE because certain classes become gimped when they become gimped in PvPPS wowhead needs PM system my only issuePPS maly im adding you to my wii friends list and SSB list so ill somehow tell you my code somehow
One thing that annoys me about WoW is Blizzard has a tendacy to not nerf a class to where it performs on an equal level, but instead nerf it to the ground and then not fix it for a long time. The same goes with buffing a class (on the rare occasions they do).
Hmm...What bugs me about WoW the most is that...well, the game is not I want it to be. Protection PvP is pretty poor, Death Knights seem to perform well in both PvE and PvP regardless of their chosen Talent tree; not to mention that they can choose to DPS or Tank in either tree. Of course, imbalance annoys me. My guild not doing what I need most annoys me. Wasted travel time, oh how it annoys me! Non-phased Dalaran, that's what annoys me.Now, I personally find Wowhead really well made. Probably the only issue I am having (and I have no knowledge about the other WoW Databases, so I can't compare) is the time it takes to implement a new feature. Granted, when that feature is implemented, it makes every rival website sweat a lot to catch up, but after a few months it is we that end up eating the dust. Until a new feature is released, at which point the cycle repeats. I know there are things out of our control, this is not a QQ, it's an opinion.
I'm pretty sure you hit the nail on the head. If your class gets a major buff followed swiftly by a nerf you can expect that class's forum to be adrift with QQers. I've never seen somone QQ about something that has always sucked, like blink bugging off the terain. It's been doing that forever. People are so use to it bugging that they don't even seriously complain about it anymore.
QQ is the way the game improves. It is the user input that tells anyone who reads what they think would be a good/bad idea. People don't just QQ because they want to screw up the game for everyone or clog up the forums or to bug people. Rather, they do it because they want people to know their opinions.
Awesome! It's these kinds of posts I want on the forums, and that's why I QQ.
Personally I do not think there is something wrong with World of Warcraft. The game itself has evolved into something that is much better than the game was at release in February 2005.What bothers me, and makes me angry, is the change in peoples' attitude. I do not know from what that thinking happened to grow that e.g. some people deserve loot from raids, while others do not deserve it. Or that thing about pro-gamers and casual gamers. This is just plain silly. All that QQ'ing about a game that's meant for kids aged 12... Technically the game gives no reason to QQ, the gameplay has improved and I have no good memories about the "old" 40-men raids, they were a waste of resources, and bound to much playtime to the grinding thing. In the end I think that people just like to QQ. It does not have any relation to WoW or Wowhead, it's just human nature that sucks.
Only time I ever go on the actual wow forums is when I get linked to a specific thread...and even then I usually end up laughing my ass of at all the whining.
It's like politics. You are bound to have some people who are opposed to certain changes in a bunch of 10 million. Some like things as they are, others like certain changes. The small minority who spend their time to post on forums will obviously cry about something if there is something they really want, or don't want in many cases. Some people like things as they are, some people want to see new content, some want a better UI, some want a harder game, some want to abolish "levels" completely, some want more guild functions, and so on. With only so much development resources we can't get everything at once, and some wishes directly contradicts one another.A lot of the QQ comes from the big changes that have been made to the game through the years. It has gone from an EQ-like MMO to a pleasing easy chatbox game. Of course, it's not as simple as that, but of course some of the older players who liked a grinding MMO will complain.
