I spent a lot of time making gold ingame but i prefer passing my time doing something else, but since I was bored of legion, I chooses to farm so token which will be useful in BFA.
I didn't really care about gold-making until I joined a guild that held a Craft Faire twice a year. This was a weekend-long event where guildees could sign-up tp level a profession with the help of other guildees. I became a member of the farming team for the event. Our captain was a goblin for sure! The most important thing I learned from him was opportunity cost. At the end of WoD, I found myself really churning out the gold from the garrisons- and it felt terrific! Currently I am setting up my alt army with professions and trying to eek out some last minute order hall gold. Looking forward to setting up the mission table early in BfA and farming my little heart out!
I spend few mins here and there reposting ah. When you have enough items posted its starting to go way easier.
So I have recently started doing more work on well... gold making. I used to do a little bit *before* Legion but had taken a bit of a break till recently and want to get into making gold again. Currently just selling mats at the moment but I get the occasional pet sale or gear piece sale here and there. I want to work on crafting mounts for profit and get that done. As for archaeology, didn't know the tip about the pet, will definitely be going out and getting that pet to sell later for sure!Right now I am trying to finish up as much Class Hall missions for all my characters to get a good method going to grab the free gold, at least for the next month or so. Anything counts!
Time is money, but my time isn't that valuable. What I do is to check every maxed alt (7 currently) and do OH quests, and do some Argus rares if they give OR on every alt, then, I just keep leveling another alt. Currently I am leveling a horde mage to get the allied races achievement.
i think Archaeology quests? weekly was really good ide maybe some same in BFA
I 've did much digging during the Legion to get "This side up"and the mount from Highmountan. And with the last archaeology quest I got some key for a secret room in BRH. Archaeology is fun :)
Really hope that the archaeology quests will be a bit easier to choose from considering ones like this week's won't be available till next xpac again. The inability to target the archaeology rates really sucked.
I now have 17 level 110s. They don't all have maxed out Champions yet, but are getting there. For all that have maxed out Champions, I just look for Gold missions twice a day. For the others, I try to do 3 missions to get the Champions leveled up, and of course they can get gold missions too. I run Emissary World Quests if any get below 4000 OR, or if they are still leveling up Champions. This brings in a ton of steady gold each week.
So I've got that Wyrmy Tunkins pet and I have no intention to sell it. Can I earn that pet multiple times? If so, how? I'm pretty new to the Archeology.
I completely forgot about doing the Archeology for the pet. That is actually a good chunk of gold especially if I want to start building up my own gold grind, using some of your examples over the weeks. I definitely want to get my gold income up because I definitely want to buy that auction house mount.
I just completed this archaeology quest but the pet is soulbound. I saw on the Wowhead post that it was being sold for 120k? What gives?
i really love readd original zulgurub i hope someday shendralar
I'll never get 5,000,000 gold. That's absolutely ridiculous!
From the section on Archaeology:
There Are very few times i actually decide to just go out to make money. I have found that I don't need a whole ton of money to play through the content and get what I need. In the future I may find more time for money making but never prioritize it.
7 million gold? holy cow, I gotta up my game, and I gotta finish up those archaeology quests
Why are leylight shards are so soldable? I have 16 chars with maxed order hall and it is so boring to do all the follower missions of them. More than half hour a time...
I don't usually put in alot of time to goldmaking. This past week I decided to get "Field Medic" achievement and shockingly enough, I was surprised how much gold I was making. Around 1k-2k a hour. So in memory of First Aid, you can make some gold while getting the Field Medic title/Achievement. Cheers!
How much digging have you done in Legion? Did you complete all of the Archaeology quests? What are you looking forward to with Battle for Azeroth Archaeology?Yah I fell off the archeology wagon after I got the moose. Though I may need to get another Wyrmy to sell - good idea. Now, may I haz beta key? Plzkthx. lol
